Today I was entangled in drawing this young girl engrossed in embroidery. Enjoying every bit of it. She is stitching with great care and love like a mother handling her baby.This reminds me of a line I read long time ago- doing what you like is freedom and liking what you do is happiness! Well I enjoyed drawing her too!

Self introspection

Here I am sitting infront of the mirror drawing myself and doing a little bit of introspection. I have stretched my lips to put up a smile but how long can one smile? From childhood I had been peeping into myself and I never realized the purpose of my existence. Perhaps when I know it I will be contented with life!I find myself pensive till then. All these years the mirror has witnessed all the changes in my features but essentially not much has changed! I am still looking for true happiness! I don't even feel the joy when it is around. All the superficial material joys don't last long. They burst and disappear like bubbles!
