Vishwaroop

It is scene from Mahabharata where Krishna reveals to Arjuna his true identity as God. In his real form God is seen as everything from the entire universe- earth. land. fire, air and water. The holy trinity according to Hinduism are Brahma - the Creator Vishnu- The Protector and Shiva- The Destroyer are seen here. They are united and omniscient and omnipresent in everything. The whole cycle of life birth - death and rebirth are overseen by them. Even past , present and future. The battlefield of life is depicted in the picture.

A Peep Into The Painting In Progress

Design the pots and then backdrop

Another couple of days to light their lamps and design their dress

Then the red pots

Took me another day to finish painting their dress

Today I had very little time for painting!

GOPIKA The Milkmaid

Girl of my imagination depicting a rural Indian girl carrying a pot of milk. Also gopika means a cowherd woman She is also depicted in in the stories of Bhagavata Purana and other Puranic literatures for her unconditional devotion to lord Krishna! In the Bhagavata Gita, the connection between the Gopikas and Krishna was pictured as a sacred connection between their hearts.
