Triplebirdtart

Birds are a treat to watch. They seem to live in another world. I wish to fly and perch with them in a tree. The view from my balcony is amazing!
It is adjacent to trees as my flat is on the third floor. I can call it my bird house or tree house! It is on I can spot countless of birds from there! This has turned me into a Ornithologist!

The Black Swan

I went and saw the movie a few days back. The dance choreography the costumes and were amazing! The visual effects to show the transformation of the Nina Sayers ( Natalie Portman) from white to black swan and back was great to watch. The transition is more poignant in the visions of the doppelganger in the story. It was the pure beauty of the story and the vision of the director that makes the movie beautiful. It inspired me to capture the moments in my drawing!

Pigeon Paparazzi

This Pigeon turned away every time I snapped for a pic. It snapped and flapped till it flew away! Can you spot it? It has more diva tantrums than a celebrity! Bird watching has become my new paparazzi passion!

The spy next door!

A kite comes and sits on the same spot everyday. It sits on the roof of a high rise building probably looking for its prey. This is its favorite spot from where it can see very far.

FOOTNOTES IN GAZA

Yesterday I finished reading the graphic novel FOOTNOTES IN GAZA. It is a well written story depicted through drawing. It is a graphic representation of journalism at its best. It is a true story which effectively delivers its message on what happened in 1956 when the Israel attacked Palestine. The book takes the reader back in 1956 through eyewitness accounts on what actually happened and what went into history books. It is very real and gory. It is fantastic and worth a read.

Bird watch

I hardly notice a bird swooshing by. Today it tested my patience when I sought to catch a glimpse of it in the sky! It took a toll on me!

Concrete Jungle

I discovered beauty in the minute details of life which I usually take little notice on my daily walks!
